Privacy Policy

Developer: Sandro Cordella

Short version: GymPal is designed to work offline. Your workout programs, exercises and notebook entries are stored only on your device and never sent to GymPal servers.

1. Data Collection

Workout-related data — including programs, exercises, notebook entries and notes — is stored exclusively on your device. This data is not transmitted to or processed by any GymPal server.

If crash reporting is enabled in the build you installed, the app may send error and stability reports through Sentry (sentry.io). These reports may include:

  • Stack traces and error logs
  • Device model and operating system version
  • App version

No additional personal identifiers are included in these reports by default.

2. Crash Reporting & Diagnostics

Stability reports are processed by Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) on behalf of the developer. Sentry acts as a data processor and handles this data in accordance with their own privacy policy.

3. In-App Purchases

GymPal offers in-app purchases to unlock premium features. All transactions are handled entirely by Google Play and may involve data collection by Google according to their privacy policy.

Google Privacy Policy

GymPal does not have access to any payment information entered during a purchase.

4. Data Sharing

Your training content is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Crash and stability data may be processed by Sentry as described in Section 2. No other third-party data sharing takes place.

5. Security

All training data remains stored locally on your device. GymPal does not operate servers that store personal user data, so there is no central database that could be subject to a breach.
